To promote NO KILL policies and the protection of the environment
To develop a network of information relating to carp angling issues between member countries
To address political matters concerned with carp fishing issues
To ratify and officiate world and individual countries records
To compile historical data lists of significant and record carp captures
To ratify and regulate international / domestic carp angling competitions
To recognise and assist individual governing bodies of carp angling nations
To encourage the preservation of wild stocks of carp
