How to claim a record

If you catch either a national or international record and would like to make a claim please follow this procedure

• Catch a big fish
• Accurately record the weight
• Provide two photographs of the fish(one of each side)
• Confirm the date and lake / river the fish was caugth from
• Provide 1 witness statement from another person confirming they witnessed the weighing of the fish
• Send the report and statement to your national representative (see representatives list)
• The ICFA panel will then consider the evidence and provide a certificate if accepted
